Christmas For An Orphan - December 15, 2009



I worked with my school Riverdale Baptist School to fill boxes for the Christmas for an Orphan program. We stuffed more than a dozen boxes with toothbrushes, soap, band-aids, pens, pencils and candy.

Mentor A Princess Day - December 12, 2009


I had a wonderful time at the "Mentor A Princess Day" sponsored by the America's Miss scholarship pageant. It was a great opportunity to spend a day with the other contestants and also meet so many future "princesses". Everyone enjoyed Disney's "The Princess and the Frog."

Prince George's County - Special Olympics Spring Games - May 2009





I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life when I volunteered for the Special Olympics Spring Games in Prince George’s County. The PG County Public Schools hosted the event. About 650 student athletes participated in two athletic events, including the 50/100/200 meter dash, wheelchair race, running and standing long jumps, high jump, shot put, turbo javelin, and softball and tennis ball throws.

Montessori Model U.N. Conference - March 2009


The Robert Goddard Montessori Model United Nations delegation with Today Show host Meredith Viera. We were in New York City for the annual conference. There were more than 600 delegates at the conference. I was part of the Human Rights Council defending human rights regardless of religious views.
